1 Day to St. Patrick’s Day – Eat Your Spinach Commish Kelly

March 16, 2007 · 2 Comments

St. Patrick’s Day arrives on a Saturday in 2007 which means 24 hours of civilians exercising what they perceive as their civil rights to imbibe and pub crawl and parade and ride the subway system as if it’s the trolley trainĀ at Disneyland. With all that he has to have a handle on in the coming days, we hope Commissioner Ray Kelly eats his spinach – it’s green!

A former Marine and educated lawyer, despite criticism that would be leveled against his office no matter who was in the position, New York City has been lucky to have the Commish as our Top Cop in two mayoral administrations. He’s a national leader. (And, he’s the anti-Kerik!)

May the wind be at your back on Saturday, Commissioner Kelly!

And of course, Ray Kelly’s alma mater is……Manhattan College! Well done; enjoyed the series.
